"Dr. Sehaj “SPS” Grewal is The Melrose Vet, and is a firm believer that Pets Are People Too, and only deserve the highest quality of care!"

Dr. Grewal grew up in the field of veterinary medicine and has personally experienced the trials and tribulations endured by pet parents and veterinary medical providers. Throughout these experiences, he has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to provide solutions. He has worked extensively in every aspect of the field: he started as a kennel assistant and is now a newly budding vet perfecting his craft in southern California’s most advanced veterinary facilities. Through countless hours of dedication to his profession and facing many obstacles and struggles in his life and career, he has excelled and become successful in all avenues of general practice. Some of his focuses and primary interests include dentistry; preventative medicine; internal medicine; soft tissue surgery; emergency medicine and critical care; and rehabilitation.

Dr. Grewal graduated in 2016 from St. Matthew’s University School of Veterinary Medicine at the top of his class and excelled in his final year of clinical rotations at Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the California Veterinary Medical Association. By gaining invaluable knowledge and skills from his academic experiences, he strives to provide cutting-edge medical care and remains at the forefront of veterinary medicine by taking numerous continuing education courses and following the latest trends of the profession.

Unlike other veterinary facilities, Dr. Grewal views your pet as a family member rather than a number. He will provide straightforward, no-nonsense veterinary care while incorporating your input and direction. He will work with you to reach a financially feasible solution that benefits the health of your pet. Our industry continues to be dominated by corporations, and the human-animal bond is sabotaged as these corporations pursue financial gain over appropriate medical care. Dr. Grewal desires to change those dynamics and has always been a firm believer in building a personal relationship with pet parents. He seeks to provide compassionate, affordable, and honest care to his clients for their furry family members. You can reach him anytime with questions or concerns at the practice line (323) 310-5555.
